Mennonites from around the world come to Guys Mills, Pennsylvania, to attend the Faith Builders Training Institute, which offers post-secondary programming in teaching, Christian ministry, and general studies.

New Monastics

A portrait series shot at the 2011 People Against Poverty and Apathy (PAPA) Festival: a four-day, outdoor Christian gathering that embraced spirituality, social activism, and communal living. Held in rural Pennsylvania, PAPA Fest featured workshops, skill shares, and concerts. It drew both young Christian anarchists and New Monastics, who frequently live together in urban communes and aid the poor.
